4 Ingredient Teething Biscuits

As a blogging and working mom, how do I find time to post on my blog? Well, the answer is simple. I can blog in this very moment because of these teething biscuits.

As we are speaking right now,(or more so, as I am writing this) my baby has a piece of this teething biscuit in her mouth. All the while, she is drinking from her favorite milk machine. Unfortunately for me, I am that milk machine.

The recipe only calls for 4 ingredients that are super nutritious for your growing baby.

Opps, hold please while I put a quick pause on typing. A piece of biscuit fell out of my baby's mouth.

Now where was I? Ah, yes...

To make this recipe, I used my Sage Baby Puree Blender.

My baby eats better than me. This is her ten dollar pecan butter. While, I eat that cheap store brand super processed peanut butter, here she is eating her boujee nut butter. Ah, the definition of mom life.

The following is an optional step. I love to add this step because it allows my baby to have a handle where she can hold the biscuit for herself.

Yup, raising an independent woman here. Girl power!

Before baking, I used a small funnel to cut out a small hole. But, you can use anything you have on hand. Here are some ideas.

You can use one of those large bubble tea straws. You can simply cut a small circle or even a small square with a sharp knife.

Don't throw away those circle biscuit cut outs. You can totally bake them and have them on hand. They make the best bite sized snack for your baby when you're on the go.
Just make note that these small pieces cook 5 minutes less in the oven than the large biscuit pieces. But, I'll elaborate on that in the steps below.

Ingredients
1 ripe banana
1 cup Gerber oatmeal
2 tablespoons hemp seeds
3 tablespoons pecan butter (You know, my baby's boujee butter that I talked about earlier. The one I very much envy her for.)

Steps

Step 1
Add all of the ingredients into the food processor. Process the ingredients until a dough forms. The consistency of the dough should look like the photos  above.

Step 2
Divide the dough into 9 equal pieces.

Step 3
Shape and flatten the dough as it looks in the photos above.Place and shape biscuits on a parchment lined baking sheet.

Optional Step
Like I mentioned before, if you want a handle for your baby to hold their biscuit, cut out a circle as shown in the photos above.

Before baking, I used a small funnel to cut out a small hole. But, you can use anything you have on hand. Here are some ideas.

You can use one of those large bubble tea straws. You can simply cut a small circle or even a small square with a sharp knife.

Step 4
Set oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 5
Once the oven reaches 350 degrees F, place biscuits in for 10 minutes.

Step 7
After the ten minutes, take the biscuits out of the oven.

Gently and slowly, flip each biscuit piece over. At this point, the biscuits are not set so be super gentle or they will fall apart.

Step 8
Bake the biscuits for an additional 10 minutes.

If you opted to do the optional step, take the small biscuit cut outs at the 5 minute mark. Then, place the large biscuits back in the oven for an additional 5 minutes.

Step 9
Let the biscuits cool for at least an hour. This is a crucial step because it will allow the biscuits to set and harden.

THAT'S IT! Just 9 simple steps.

My baby loves this recipe. Tell me how your baby liked it in the comment section below!
