Dry Ingredients
- 1 cup baking soda
- 1/2 cup epsom salt
- 1/2 cup citric acid
- 3/4 cup starch
- handful of tea leaves (optional)
Wet Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon water
- 3 tablespoon melted coconut oil
- 20 to 30 drops of essential oil
- 5 to 10 drops of soap coloring (optional)
***Adding color is optional. However, if you do decide to add the soap coloring then make sure you subtract 5 to 10 drops of water from the recipe.***
Directions
1.) Mix all dry ingredients into one large bowl.
2.) Mix all wet ingredients into one container. An easy way to do this is placing all of the ingredients into a mason jar with a lid. Close the lid and shake.
3.) Slowly add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. And when I say slowly, I mean one or two drops at a time. While adding drops of the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, mix with a whisk as quickly as possible.
4.) Place the mixture into a mold of your choice.
5.) Let air dry for at least 24 hours.
