I'm skinny. And, it may come as a shock to many. But, as a skinny girl, I need to put a crazy notion out in the open virtual air...
Are you ready to be blown away?
Well, here goes nothing... The big mind-blowing secret is that us skinny girls need to eat like any other human being. Shocking! I know, it is utterly and completely shocking.
This is a Skinny Girl's guide for some San Francisco eats.
Dinner // Day # 1:
Ryoko's
619 Taylor St.
San Francisco, CA 94102
Breakfast // Day # 2:
On day two, I picked up some red wine.
For the sake of this post, I will call my bottle of wine, whiny baby. See the photo below. See how I'm holding the wine like an actual human baby. I kept calling the wine my whiny baby. But, I digress.
Anyways, I picked up a whiny baby, went to Chinatown, and ordered some dim sum at:
Good Mong Kok Bakery
1039 Stockton St.
San Francisco, CA 94108
After having in hand, my glorious dim sum and my whiny baby, I bused over to Dolores Park. Upon arriving at the park, I laid out my blanket onto the dewy grass. I was totally ready to eat dim sum and drink the whiny baby.
In an instant, I went from a rule abiding citizen, eating dim sum and drinking wine, to a mastermind in crime.
You see, I have a confession to make. I knew, in advance that it is illegal to drink alcohol on public California grounds. That is unless, a drinking permit is issued to the site. Dolores Park has no such permit. So, being the criminal mastermind that I am, I premeditated a nickname for the wine and some plastic cups. I brought cups from home that I received during a 90's themed bar crawl. It was the perfect accessory to my heinous crime.
Promise me that you will keep this criminal activity of mine as our little secret.
But, I do have to say that this illegal stunt was so worth it. I am now a criminal who ate dim sum with this view:
