Lime Crime Lipstick Review

Lime Crime in pink velvet...

1.) It is not sticky at all
2.) Color has high pigmentation
3.) Color lasts all day even without reapplication
4.) Smells like chocolate

1.) Dries out your lips
2.) When you eat oily foods, the color has a higher tendency of coming off
3.) Stains your lips even after you wash it off.

1.) Don't moisturize your lips before application.
2.) Scrub your lips to get rid of all the dead skin before application. Make this scrub.
3.) After you eat, dab your lips with a napkin instead of rubbing them.
4.) Use coconut oil to take the lipstick off.

For the purposes of showing you how long the color lasts, I did not reapply the lipstick all day.

11:00 AM- First and only application of the day

11:00 AM to 3:45 PM- Food and drinks:

-venti caramel frappuccino
-venti cup of water
-a third of an Auntie Anne's pretzel
-a pack of sour patch kids
-three sips of coke
-a small bag of popcorn
Please don't judge my poor eating habit!

Oh, and I gave my hubby one gentle kiss.

This is how my lips looked at this point of the day:

4:00 PM to 5:50 PM- I drank two cups of water through a straw and ate a large dinner. I ate a plate of fried chicken and waffles and a blacken fish with a side of grilled veggies and a bowl of buttery grits. As you can tell, I had a very, and I mean very, greasy dinner. And as I stated in the cons earlier, the color comes off much quicker when you eat foods high in oil content. Again, please do not judge my poor eating habits.

This is how my lips looked at this point of the day:

I know that this company, Lime Crime, gets a lot of bad press. But, is it a Lime Crime that I love this product so much?

What other lip products last all day? I would love to give them a try so let me and your fellow readers know in the comment box below.
